HealthifiedMichelle: Workout 19/12/2013

Today’s workout was super intense! Burning around 1000 calories, I can safely say I am tired.

•35 minutes treadmill (5.09km) 
-5min@6.8km/h, 5min@9.5km/h, 5min@10km/h, 5min@10.5km/h,
3min recovery@6.5km/h, 2.5min@11km/h, 2.5min@11.5km/h,
2min@12km/h, 5 min cool down
•Stretching
•5min treadmill @10.7km/h
•5min elliptical (resistance level 3, incline level 3, high speed)
•Boxing:
-10 single punches: forwards, sideways, and upwards
-10 double punches: forwards, sideways, and upwards
-10 {2 right arm punches+1 left arm punch): forwards, sideways, upwards
-10 {2 left arm punches+1 right arm punch): forwards, sideways, upwards
-2x10 singles+5 jumping jacks: forwards, sideways, and upwards
•12 side lunges each leg w/ 3 lb medicine ball
-lunge to the right, touch floor with ball, stand back up, push out arms
parallel to the floor, pull back in, lunge to the left, touch floor, etc.)
•if you haven't done side lunges in a while, careful because hamstrings can
cramp and it will be very painful)
•3x12 crunches with legs in "butterfly stretch" position, relaxed
•3x12 toe touches with legs straight in the air
•3x12 alternating side planks with arm extension
•Stretching
So that was my workout. As you can see, it was a lot longer than previous workouts. It took around 1 hour 50 minutes with water breaks and burnt a little less than 1000 calories.
